PawsWatch is one of the groups we support through our tee and hoodie sales, and are located in RI, USA. They provide veterinary care, food and shelter to improve the lives of feral and unowned cats, and specialise in TNR. They also find homes for cats and kittens, and today you’re meeting Duchess, a young mum who needs and deserves a loving home…
Duchess was found with her 3 kittens last summer.She is around 2 yrs old. We found homes for all the kittens and its time for Duchess to get a forever home. She is a sweet, lovable girl who would make a great companion for any home.

What a sweet baby Duchess is. I hope and pray she finds her ‘furever’ home soon. I have 2 fosters who have comforted me since me last two babies crossed the Rainbow Bridge in 2009 and fall 2010. They are still very frightened of strange voices and noises and go hide in their favourite spot (my walk in closet). They are a father/daughter combo (wife as well as proved by her 4 kittens of which one was a polydactyl like Daddy Paulie). Paulie will now come to bed with me but not Mary. I still cannot pick them up so vetting them again is or would be a major ordeal. I would have to use other resources in order to accomplish that issue (maybe even trying to trap them again in the apt.). Also belong to a group called Action Volunteers for Animals and prior to Paulie and Mary, TNd 7 who are now in homes but these 2 will remain with me since I got them inside and slammed the door. LOL They no longer wish to go outside. I live in a semi-detached back-split basement apt. so they used to want out through the window and I’d wait for hours for them to decide to come in at night while I worried. Now with multi inches of snow, they know that’s not an option because it was during the cold winter of 2009 before Pepper passed, that I got them inside. They helped Tiki get over her loss for the next 1-1/2 years sbefore joining Pepper over the Bridge at the age of 19 yrs. 7 mos. My sweet babies – forever missed!
