Shelter Cat Saturday – Meet Winki
Today’s post features my new foster kitten, Winki! Winki is a very special little girl, who came to Cat Protection Society in Sydney after being dumped, and having had to have her right eye removed, due to a neglected case of cat flu. Its very sad, but she doesn’t seem to think so! Nothing holds this gorgeous little girl back. She is very sweet and full of energy, I’m pretty sure she hasn’t stopped running around since she got to my house (although I think she had also never played with a cat toy before either)!
She is kind of tortie, but she has no orange in her. The best way to describe her gorgeously soft coat is black, with dark brown tabby markings. She is great with other cats and is 12 weeks old. I’ll have her until around the 19th Feb, before she goes back to CPS to have her stitches removed (from her eye and where she has been spayed), and then she’ll go up for adoption. A very lucky family/person will then get to welcome her into their home. If you think you are one of those special people, and you have a big heart with lots of love to give, please send me an email and I can talk you through the adoption process: sarah (at) catteemission.com

Aw, what a sweet girl.
What a beautiful girl Winki is, we love her furs! Huge purrs for her to find an amazing forever home shortly that cherishes the special girl she is. Wonderful of you Sarah to be caring for her now.
Great work Sarah x
She’s beautiful! We think we’d call her a lovely smoke color at our shelter…! Wishing her a wonderful forever home!
She’s gorgeous-whoever adopts her will be SO lucky, we have a girl with occular seizures, a boy going blind in one eye, and we’re in the process of adopting a boy we fostered who had to have an eye removed. We love all of our cats more than I can say, but cats like Winki have something a little extra in them-we wish her all of the best. I shared & pinned-every bit can help
Winki, you are stunning gorgeous sweetie!
Winki is so pretty! That bottom picture of her with the tip of her tail sticking up is just too cute!
